Q: Why do you use cyan highlights?
Q: Why do you use cyan highlights?
Because they are controversial and unnatural
The art style seems influenced by MLP
I don't think you should use flat gradients.
you means,"no gradiants"?
I think that there should be more shading in the picture
Keep doing this
You should've uploaded it in a higher pixel area
Okay, so I'm unsure how to do that with Graphics Gale. If I figure it out I'll Reupload. Thanks mate!
I feel like you shouldn't use just grey for the shadows.
First of all, I think you should probably darken/blur the people in the background to make it easier to see the characters that you want to focus on.
Secondly, try to remove the vertical lines before you begin to draw.
Yes, I forgot about this detail of people, I made this drawing in 2017, but thanks for the tip. Those vertical lines are from the notebook, there was no way to remove.
You said he's a "genetically engineered soldier", but he also "breaks free of his programming". Does that mean he's a robot or a human with genetic modifications?
This will be explained in the story, albeit most of the details are pretty far in as Kiyan only knows he was genetically engineered to fight a specific threat. In short, his DNA was extracted and modified very heavily to the point that he almost doesn't appear human on DNA tests.
EDIT: Another thing to mention, in his modifications they made him more obedient. However something on Earth changes that.
I think that you shouldn't have the light source directly above the character. Also, to achieve the type of eyes your trying to draw, make the vertical lines thicker or add more of them
Thank you so much for da review brother.
Art every month.
Games whenever.
Animations even less frequently.
